Nautical RamblingsA few years back, a reporter of Nautical Times (inc) once managed to get a letter sent to the crew of the Cottonstar asking for a small bit of information from each of the crew members about who they were, their roles on the ship, and what they thought of the other crew members. It was to be part of an article on voyaging vessels on the high seas. The letter reached the Cottonstar crew by way of pigeon, catapult, a one-eyed, perpetually drunk fisherman who thought the letter had been sent to him by "The Great Golden Eagle Above" as part of a secret message to save to universe, and eventually a somehow sentient sea turtle who thoughtfully rese

This photograph was taken by my brother at around the time when I had just finished high school. It was in a park in London. I can't recall which one it was. It was an overcast day and we'd taken our film cameras out to play with high ISO films. This shot was unexpected, but came out so beautifully. It's grainy and slightly washed out because he'd used 1000 ISO film, but I think it looks lovely just the way it is. I'm not sure why it looks like I have a gap tooth here. I don't - my teeth are quite firmly stacked together, and perfectly straight.

More proof that I have had a fixation with pigeons for a long time!

Certainly an awesome photo! Haha, I see the gap tooth. don't feel bad though, I always seem to have one smaller eye in photos but not when I look in a mirror...weird.

I don't think I want to touch this photo! It's like a fragile memory.
In this photo I'm about 7 years younger, about 28kgs lighter, I have longer hair, and it's blonde instead of dark. Quite a lot of changes!
