When my mother and I were in Kenya, the one thing that got on our nerves was the amount of people trying to sell us things. They were relentless (you just try to put your FOOT outside that hotel!!!).
Along the paradise-like beach, there were several open air "stalls," selling beadwork, carvings and cloth, like the stall depicted in this shot. I found the cloth stalls absolutely beautiful. The beach was the perfect setting for them. The cloth kept fluttering and billowing in the ocean breeze, and the colours contrasting with the setting did something to my insides. Definitely one of those joy-inspiring sights... i'll treasure the experience forever.

This was taken with an "aim-and-click" camera... alas, my Pentax was still broken at that point in time.
Note: Apologies if the colour balance or contrast is incorrect, I hope to aquire a new, better screen soon. This one, i have discovered, has teamed up with my scanner to try and squash the attractiveness my photographs.

Note: Scaled down version, especially for FuzzyYak!

Really, if there was an 11th Commandment, that should be it.

Lovely colours. The horizon is crooked, though.

God bless America :flagus:
Nathan: why, so it is!! lol. I've never noticed. Luckily the beach helps to distract a bit from it, not to mention the super bright cloth ^.~ I'll have a look at that sometime.

Thanks for the comments, all :D
